A Newborn Session with David Michael DeVito Jr.

Yay.  I'm so glad to be blogging again. It's been a little while. The little elves in our studio have been very busy placing orders for the Holidays. Can you beiieve it's Christmas so soon?

Meet David jr.!  Big, huge, lovely eyes like his beautiful mother, Kara.  Look how fabulous she looked during our pregancy session.

I went on location for their newborn session, which i love to do and highly recommend.  I love the aura of a home with a new life in it. There is definitely a warm-fuzzy feeling that surrounds you.  Is there such thing as calm chaos?  Because, that's what it feels like.  All is right in the world with new baby and, oh, gosh, no I don't have time to do mundane chores and I'm still trying to figure out how to unfold the stroller to put in the car and buckle baby in.  It's amazing, because in 2 months time, you'll be doing everything with one hand.

Thank you so much David & Kara for allowing me to document something so precious.  xoxoxoxoxo

I love the little smirk on his face.  Must be having a happy little dream.

I love toes!!!!

Just waking up to photographer.  Hello little person.

I love how little David is connecting with daddy.

Quiet moment with mom.

I LOVE this family photo with Max (the dog), who was making certain to protect baby from person with camera.

The two Davids.

Dreamy...

A Celebration of Pregnancy. Linda.

We've had a lot a beautiful pregnant women walking through our doors these past couple of months.  Something is definitely in the air.  I love it!  I'm in awe of a beautiful round belly and the power it emits when you get near it.  You can't help but want to touch it, in hopes of feeling a little kick.

Linda is absolutely stunning in all her glorious belly.  This is her second child (you'll meet her first) and she's so calm about everything, as well as, the arrival of Max! I absolutely love to explore the creative possibilities of documenting a pregnancy.  It's much more of an artistic attempt to make a beautiful portrait.

Thank you, Linda, for allowing me to have a little fun with this shoot.  I can't wait to meet Max.

New Bundle of Love. A Portrait Session in Edgewater, MD.

There is nothing more beautiful than a new life with two doting parents in tow.  The McClannan's couldn't be happier about this new addition to their family.  Here's a few from our session.

A New Baby in Town. A Life Stages Session at Sean & Cassidy's House.

There is nothing more wonderful and refreshing than a new life.  You can't help but watch and admire in amazement as this beautiful being begins to discover their world...even at a week old.

Evan was a week old during the second of six sessions I'll be having with the Kapfhammers.  And he was so aware, so adorable, & so big.  Geez.  Over 9 lbs and absolutely scrumptious to photograph.  Here are a few of my favs.
