Meet Max...I mean Ethan. A Newborn Session.

Max!

So, I made this image I was so excited about when Linda was pregnant.  They knew they were having a boy and named him Max.  They were pretty sure because they bought the letters for his room.  I wanted to use them in an image and it turned out great!  I was imagining it hanging on the wall in his little room. 

A few weeks later I hear from a dear friend and client of mine that they changed his name to Ethan after he was born.  And so my fabulous Max picture is just a memory.

Connor & Dillon. A Fall Portrait Session at the Baltimore Museum of Art.

I love this family and I love documenting Dillon & Connor.  Everytime I see them, it's like meeting them for the first time.  They change so much in such a short period of time.  It's a amazing. 

We held the session on a soggy morning at the Baltimore Museum of Art, which has beautiful grounds and the building is stunning.

Phoenix & Shawn's Beautiful Children.

Jack & Joey. Fall is in the Air!

I met Joey (the older son) when he was a newborn and I remember how nervous Jennifer & Joe were with a new baby in their life.  It's innate.  You have to be a little scared as a new parent. In fact, it's a requirement.  But, as I watched little Joey grow during his first year I also noticed how his parents "grew" a little too.  So, when Jack was born it felt a bit different.  Nothing like experience to give you ease of mind.

Here's Jack, little brother to Joey with a BIG personality.  Oh, and how I love Fall.  It was an absolutely perfect day for my third session with Jack.  Yes, he's grown... a lot.  See for yourself!

Ellie Turns One! Yay!

I've had the wonderful pleasure of meeting and celebrating life with the Hughes family.  I'm so grateful for their trust in me to document such a precious and sweet child.  This was the first time I went to their Virginia home and it's fabulous!!!!  I loved everything about it.

Thank you, thank you!  I'm so lucking to be working with you.

Piper! A Portrait Session in Her Very Cool Room.

Piper has a very fitting name.  She has a lot of spunk and knows what she wants and, well,  doesn't want.  And she has the coolest room!  So bright and colorful.  And when she put the pink tutu on, I couldn't stand how darn cute she was.  And her eyes, her eyes will make you melt.  Wendy & Robert have a little gem.  Thanks so much for allowing me to see your very special world.
