A Family Portrait Session with Ethan & Luke.

Have I ever told you that I love, love, love, love documenting the Life Stages Sessions we offer.  I can't tell you enough how amazing it is to see these precious little people (that's what I like to call them) grow before my eyes. 

I've been documenting Ethan since he was in his mom's belly.  See the first sessions here and here.  He's about five monthes old now and just last week I did the final session.  I was blown away at how big Ethan grew.  He's got so much personality.  He loves to smile and eat his toes. He's mad for his older brother, Luke, too.

Liz & Heath. A Portrait Session in Georgetown, DC.

Liz & Heath are leaving DC for a new adventure and chapter in their lives. They are headed to NYC for new careers.  Before they leave, and gradute from Georgetown University, they wanted images in and around their old stomping grounds.  So, that's what we did. Found little hints of the areas they frequented as students and as a couple.

Thanks Liz & Heath.  I wish you lots of happiness with many new endeavors.

More Mom & Me Portrait Sessions.

I've had a lot of fun helping Moms celebrate being Moms.  It's a tough job, but it's worth it in every possible way.  A big thank you to all of you who have braved middle of the night feedings, snotty noses, constant chaos and clutter,  a little attitude, and endless entertaining. But, then they smile at you or give you a big hug or snuggle in bed with you in the morning.  Then, all is right in the world.  You suddenly know your place and smile.  I know I do.
